Life...or something like it
yeah, so describing my life with "hectic" would be an understatment. Chaotic definately fits. Lately, I've travelled between Michigan and West Virginia quite a bit. Thanks to Hilary and her mom for taking care of my horses for me. A meltdown would have been on my horizon if they hadn't done that. Thanks guys (I know you read this, Hil) But anyway, my grandfather has been sick lately. Last week he was placed in the V.A. Hospital's ICU. His system was so weak from chemo therapy, he managed to catch pneumonia. Poor guy. But light waited at the end of the week. While his cancer remains terminal, he's got a little while left. He's off the ventilator, and has shown extreme improvement. I know he's not going to live forever, but I'm glad he'll see a few more days. The trip was both good and bad. The dog drove me nuts the entire time. But I'll give him one thing: the back seat of an extended cab truck is not the most comfortable of places for him. Otherwise, he's the same old hyper dog. I did drag my parents to the Boyd's Bear Country in Gettysburg, PA. As usual, they bought more bears. Hey, could be worse. I'm having fun attempting to get things in order for classes. My parents have decided to leave me in the last week of August. That should be fun, I got a dorm so I wouldn't have to drive from EL to Leslie every day. I'm not looking forward to that week at all. Haven't heard anything from my pen pal in Iraq since May. He's starting to make me worry again. Like I said before, I don't really care what he does, as long as he comes home safe and sound to his family. Anyway, hopefully I'll remember this thing before classes start again. until then, до свиданя.
